Filters

5 decent sized goldfish in a 75 gal 20 gal for first one 10 for each after that. I need a new filter or two. What is the best filter you cold fish folks reccommend?

Deffinately an external. As to which one look for something that at least turns the water 6 times and more if possible, and Eheims are excellent in my opinion. The more media in a filter the better as goldies are great ammonia producers.
If you are after two then an external and an internal to deal with solid waste and keep the water moving.

I dont know as you are US and i'm UK.
Ive heard penguin bio wheels are good but you need one as big or bigger than marked for your tank. Maybe someone else can help you there.

I use Penguin Bio wheels on a lot of tanks. They are great. I think I will put a penguin bio wheel and a canister filter on the tank. Thanks for the input!
