Hi

I have just set up a very small tank as a nursery and have tapped into the air supply from my larger tank but I am having trouble finding a filter small enough.
My nursery tank is really, really small - it is 10" x 6" x 6" and I think only has about 12L of water (if that)
Does anybody know of an internal filter (or external) that would be small enough to do the job without causing too much turbulence when the water exits the filter - I am also looking for one that is dead cheap too!! I am in Manchester, U.K.

Well, if you could get your hands on it - Wisper 5-15

Actually 10" x 6" x 6" is a little less that 6 liters/1.55 gallons. I don't know if there is any filter you can put in it that isn't too much. I do have a couple Whisper 10 filters that can be adjusted down to a trickle. They would maybe work. It is actually rated for 90 gallon per hour though so still quite a lot of filtration.

Here is another small filter that I have seen both good and bad comments on. I personally have no experience with them but a lot of people have said they work well on betta tanks where you don't want a lot of flow.

I used this Red Sea Nano Filter on a 1.5 gallon betta tank.

Thanks for all of your suggestions guys, I am going to see if The Wolfs suggestion is small enough.
Thanks everyone :D

The Elite Mini is a great filter. Its adjustable, has a venturi tubey thing, good flow rate, aerates the water... and is quite cheap.
