I was looking into purchasing a new internal power filter, as the aquarline brand doesnt seem to do the job. Any suggestions (i would prefer to over filter the tank).
Tank size etc: L24 W15 H12 (inch's)

Also if you would add the dimensions of the filter, that would be very helpfull.(To make sure its not too big for my tank, but you dont have to if you dont know.)

This would probably get a few more hits in the hardware section. But I'll try to help. Just wondering, why internal? IMO they're bulky, take up to much room in the tank and can be quite the eyesore. Why not just do a good hob? Or even an external. There are quite a few smaller externals of the eheim series that I'm sure would serve you well. I do hob on both of my 20 gallon tanks and they are great. The penguin models are nice . Sorry I didn't answer your question, just an attempt to sway you

Hmmmm, external.
Not a bad idea ill check it out, have you got any links to the smaller externals?
I cant seem to find them.

Ive decided that i may purchase a fluval 205 external, is this a reliable filter?

no it breaks alot...............

lol only joking!! like onemisterchristian said, it will get more views in hardware section :good:

go for the fluval 205 mate there very good filters i use a 305 and my internal to power my mbuna tank the 205 is more than enough for what you need so good choice for yourself.
