Filter 'stopped'

Over the weekend, the filter in our bristlenose tank gave into the poop and stopped pumping!
(only cleaned it 3 weeks ago!)

With little to no surface movement and approx 60 fry - the O2 got a bit low...
thankfully they let us know before it was too late!

a quick clean and an extra air pump later and all is well again

here is mum and one of her little babbies

the babies crawling around the cucumber remind me of flies or ants covering something sticky


but just a question about ur bnose, how long did it take for them to breed ?? do they have to like each other ?? or is anything in a skirt good ??

we had them for about 4 months before they were breeding.

they need to be about 2" in size...

oh and try to get the parents from different shops to ensure they are not related.

gosh, 2 inches ?? that's only 5 cm, mines that big ~!*~ it certainly does not look big enough to start a family
