Filter Stopped And Won't Start Again

Hi everyone,

Last night I had to flip a switch on my circuit breaker and when I did I shut off power to my fish tank. When I flipped the switch back on, everything else returned to normal except for my filter. It's a Penguin Biowheel filter (the kind that hangs from the back of the tank). I've tried plugging and unplugging, but it seems dead. Has anyone else had this problem? I'd rather not have to buy a new one!

You can get in a bit of trouble for that, normally when girlfriend shouts the best thing is to ignore her and go about your business
