Got a new can for xmas. My first. A ss 402b.

So far I've got, rings in the bottom, first basket has floss, one blue spong, and two pads. Second full of biomax, third has the twenty bioballs, the charcoal, followed by another pad.

Thinking about filling the top tray with blue sponges, when they get here.

What kind of rings? If this is actual biorings(I have fluval prefilter media rings as well as their bio media rings) then those should be at the top. That way they don't get gunked up with as much nasty waste so the bacteria has nice places to grow instead of being blocked off. The SunSun canisters water flows from the bottom to the top. Hope that helps!
