Filter Spray Bar

i have just got an external filter with a spray bar.its the all pond solutions 1000p/hr
wheres the best place to position the spray bar.

on the side of the tank so that points to the other side
or on the back or the tank so it points towards the front of the glass?? this is how i have it atm but the other side of the tank doesnt get much water movement?? im using both of the spray bar parts also

If using a spray bar I would suggest placing it on the side so that the flow goes from side to side assuming that your intake is in the opposite corner. This will give you the best movement. If you would like to keep the spray bar out the way though at the back then you could get a powerhead to increase flow in the tank for extra movement. You can pick one up that gives around 900lph turnover for about £15 and at that output they are pretty small and mean you can direct flow as required.
