Hello all...
We just purchased a used 55 gallon from a friend of ours. He had both fresh and saltwater set-ups years ago, and he gave us all of his accessories.
Included were two Concorde 180 Power Filters, and both have been cleaned well and are seemingly operable. The only type of media included were two sponges, and we can't seem to find any decent information on the filter type so we can figure out what else (if anything) is needed.
Since these filters are a few years old, should we just break down and buy a new filter system? Or is there something we should add to them? Perhaps some activated carbon?
