I've currently got a 380 litre tank, on which i'm using a Rena XP3 filter and a 70 litre tank which has got a Fluval105 filter.
I've just picked up a 175 litre tank at a bargain price which has got two internal filters with it. The 175 litre tank is going to replace the 70 litre tank.
Would it make sense to buy a new external filter for the 175 litre tank (Fluval 205?) and simply use the Fluval 105 as an additional filter on my 380 litre tank? In other words, would I see any benefit in using both the XP3 and 105 on the 380 tank?
If so, is there any other filter I should be considering instead of the Fluval 205? I'd be looking to spend maximum of £60 on the filter.
Thanks
James
