Filter Question

Hi All,

I was wondering what difference a bigger filter in my tank would make. I am currently running with a Fluval 3+ in a 27.5 UK Gallon tank, which seems to be pretty good at what it does, However a friend of mine is selling a Fluval 4+ filter that he got with his new tank, but he has gone and bought an external filter. Would there be any real benefits to the tank if I bought this larger filter. I know that many people think that external filters are best but I haven't got the money at the moment to get one.

i say keep the moeny you want to buy the fluval 4+ with and slap it in the "external filter fund" i dont see the need to spend money on a fluval 4 if you got a fluval 3 running. if you rearly need that extra filtration go for it, or buy a cheap lil thing to run along side your fluval 3.

have you tried ebay for external filters? they have some great bargins!
