Filter question

Does anyone have experience with "Whisper In-Tank Internal Power Filter"? I'm looking for something to go with the 10 gallon sorority tank I want to set up. It sounds like this one goes inside the tank, and is totally submersible. Can you think of pros and cons for this type?

I have one like this and they are very gentle filters. If you fill the tank up so that the water is even with the filter output, the only current is at the very surface. They're not as powerful as other filters, in my opinion, but the slow current is great for bettas.
