Filter Pad

Ok my power filter aqua tech 30-60gal which came with the 55gal kit I bought. The filter pad, the white one not the blue one. It says on the box that it "eliminates toxic ammonia and nitrites" will this in any way mess up a fishless cycle. Sorry I am noob.

hmm thats an intresting boast. while it kind of helps to illiminate those its not really the pad that does that job. think nothing more of it, it wont effect you and your cycle
