Filter Overkill?

I am getting a rio 125 (125l) and on aquatics online they ahve the 3 tetra ex... filters.
600-£59.95
700-£63.95
1200-£59.95

Would it be overkill getting the 1200lph filter? the tank will be planted and i dont really want to pay for the 700 which is perfect when i can get the 1200 cheaper and its better value for money, i think the 600 is a bit small but if i use it with the juwel internal would this be ok?

you get what you pay for where filters are cocerned buy budget filters get budget filter IMO

for £59 are they desposable filter were you dont need to change them you just throw them away when they need cleaning

my EX1200 was great , couldn't reccomend it more.

I would get the EX1200 , and remove the juwel internal , if its too powerfull , turn it down a little

There are quite a lot of us 'ex eheim' owners using these now. not from problems with wheims but when adding new tanks you need another filter and these have good reviews. I have an EX700 on my plante 125. Can't fault it. excellent filter.
