Filter Outflow

Heya, i have a juwel rekord 120, i changed the pump to 600lph instead of the 400lph it comes with, however i was just wondering, what is the best direction to point the outflow tube in as i keep getting quite a large buildup of poo on the sand. Can the direction of the filter outflow help to pick it up off the bottom, or does the hoover do that lol.

Hi, sometimes with sand the poo can collect in a corner because of the filter current. In normal conditions a weekly 'gravel' vac will clear it while some will disolve into the water and get collected in the first stage mechanical filtering media. If you have a problem with the amount perhaps you may be over feeding a tad?
