Filter media quesion.

Within the next 3 weeks i will upgrading my tank to a better filter which will be an external.

Can i put my filter media from the internal into the external so i dont have to run both filters at the same time while the new one gains good bacteria?

yep, that will work fine. I did exactly the same thing when I first switched to an External from internal, and had no problems whatsoever.
