Filter jumpstart

Hey!

So as I understand it....If I run a second filter on an allready cycled tank, it will become infested with beneficial bacteria very rapidly. Is this correct? AND...if this is correct, how long will it take for the second filter to become "fully cycled"

thats how i cycled my sponge filter.but i am not too sure.

i know its true for bio wheele filters.. turn off the normal filter and stir the gravel up a bit while the new filter is runing. a fue days to a week wold be enuff time IMO
