I bought SOBO internal Filter and put in my 7 gallon tank(15x12x9)cm.
But its flow is very vigourus.

and should i keep that in my tank or remove it ?

and is their ant way to reduce the flow ?

i had attached a pipe and make number of holes in it.

here is the picture.

Please Help.

Thats a 650 liter per hour filter is a 30 liter tank. Which gives you 21.7 per hour turner over of your water. That is serious over kill in a tank that size IMO get something like a Fluval U1. You want 300 liters per hour max, but would be absolutely fine with 150 liters per hour as well.

Thankyou Wills

Thanks Alot !!

Emm not sure if your filter has one but some have a valve near the top you can turn to change the flow, check the instructions maybe?

If not try putting some decor in from of the outlet, like some rocks or something to disperse the filter flow around them but make sure they are heavy and wont get pushed over.

I think it will be simpler to get a new filter and move the media, sponges etc over into the new media chambers.
