Fish Fanatic
I have a 50 something gal tank that I am kidnapping from my sister and converting into "betta condos".
I will be using dividers made from screen (like the type you use for windows). The tank is about 48 inches long and I will be seperating it into 6 different sections.
My major concern at the moment is filteration.
The pet store reccomended that i purchase 2 filters - a underwater filter (the fluval model) and a hang on power filter (the aqua clear model) and place them at either end to ensure proper water circulation.
What do you folks think? They also suggested that i use filters for a smaller tank as i would be using two, is this correct?
What sort of filter system would you reccomend?
I am really worried about the current being tooo strong for my bettas. Which filter types have the most betta friendly amounts of current?
Any suggestions/info would be so helpful!!
Thanks a million!!
