Does anyone have any experience with the Whisper in-tank power filter 10i? Its really cheap and supposedly quiet, and I'll only have a betta, some ghost shrimp, and 1-2 apple snails in the aquarium (its 10 gallons), so I dont need the most powewrful filtration. Will the filter create too much current for the betta? Also, does this filter provide biological filtration? Thanks!

I have used the whisper in tank filter for a place to put baby mollies and it worked rather well. With what you want to put in the tank it should be fine.

I have 2 10G tanks.
One of them has one of these filters on it, and the other has an adjustable filter. I'd DEFINITELY recommend getting the adjustable flow one rather than this one for a male betta tank.

My female tank is the one that has the non-adjustable filter on it, and they get blown all over tarnation in there - they don't really care, sometimes they ride the current - but I think it would really, really bother a male.

Just my 2 cents worth :)
