Filter For 100 Uk Gallons

Im looking for a filter for a new tank. the tank is 110 uk gallons (500 litre) i already have a eheim pro 2 2224 which is good for 50 uk gallons. so i have another 60 gallons to filter. i was going to go for a filter of about 100 gallons.

so as the title suggest what filter for 100 uk gallons? my price range is under £110

on a big tank over 100g its always best to have 2 x filters

then when you clean 1 the other is stil run at top performance

i would buy another eheim the same as you have or abit bigger say a 2228-2229 im not sure which one of them is wet and dry but its one of them numbers

i have one in my garage if you want to buy one cheap its only been used for 6 months

thanks at the moment i have two eheims on my 45 gallon (the one im upgrading) and as you said its alot easier to maintain. so i will be going with 2 filters.

i was looking at the eheim 2028 as it was inprice + good size filter.

im only planning at the moment. but were getting new carpets though out the house next month so the tank has to be moved so i might aswell upgrade at the same time. but im interested in the filter if you still have it at the right price

im not sure of the model number but its the biggest pro 2 with 3 x media trays if that helps

i have all new pipe work for it and hose
