What kind of filter is it? Most filters have a flow adjustment on it so have a look and see if you can turn it down

hey trick,
does it look like they're getting "blown around" and are they actually struggling?

My guys like to play in the waterfall current where the water comes out of the filter. They swim into the current, get tossed around.... and then they go back and do it again!
gotta love those guppies.

Take some nylon mesh, the type used for a screen door. Run it under hot water to sterilize it and make a diffuser out of it by rolling it up and attaching it in front of the outlet.

well at first i thought they were strrugling but maybe they are playing. the angels don't seem to have a problem tho, well aprat form each otehr!!! although they have solved that now as well!! in a not nice way.

but back to the point i will have a look at the filter and see if i can find a control

When I was trying to slow down the current in Amos' tank, I found a piece of filter sponge and cut it to fit inside the intake tube, then I shoved a piece of it in there and it slowed the current down.

Not enough for little Amos, though :(

Okay, you gotta swear not to laugh at what I'm about to tell you....

Promise????

Okay, here is what I did: I took a green dishwashing sponge (the cheapo type with no chemicals on it to keep it "clean") and I cut the foot part off of my old nylons (tights, whatever). Then I put the sponge right next to where the water comes out and wrapped the nylon around the sponge and the outlet. Works like a charm... that is, if you have old nylons you can cut up...
