I have a Fluval 2+ filter in my 21.5 UK gallon (approx 26US) and the past few days it hasn't been working properly.
We've been getting quite a few powercuts in my street because they're doing building work (and for some bizarre reason none of the gas/water/electric is mapped out in my street) and ever since the first one on Thursday night my filter hasn't been working correctly.
What I mean by this is every time the power cuts out it stops working altogether - even when the power returns and it takes about 20minutes to get it working again. I turn off the filter and heater whenever I do maintainence in the tank and the filter always used to come back on straight away... but now even if I just take the plug out/turn off the socket it takes forever to get it working again.
Any advice?
