I have recently bought some carbon media, but it is loose and not in the bags. Ive been told that you can put the correct measured amount in a pair of tights cut down to size, and tied of at both ends.
Only problem is, is that Ive noticed that the tights holes are alot more fine than the fluval bags that you usually get, could anybody give me any advise, or does anybody else use tights for media bags.
My worry is with them being alot more fine, do you think it will put to much strain on the motor, or not get to the carbon media well enough to chemically change the water.
Thanks alot
Allys worse half, Jimmy
btw, I had to say that shes sat beside me, ha ha
