Hi all.

We have two tanks.

Our standard one, which is 36" x 12" x 18", and the "thin" one, which is 60" x 24" x 6.5".

Both tanks currently have UGF. The "standard" one has been going for a few months and is a little overstocked

The "thin" one has been going for around 10 days and is well into its cycle.

I have just been offered (free of charge :D :D ) an Eheim 2215 from a guy at work, complete with lots of filter media etc.

Any thoughts on this filter..........and any thoughts on which tank to put it in?

Thanks

If it were me I would put the Ehiem in your standard tank, it will help with your slighty over stocking. Ehiem are great filters and the 2215 is good for a tank up to 90 Gals, so fine for your tanks. Put new media in it and keep it running with your current filter for a month or 2. HTH.

:D .......he is bringing it to work on Thursday...... :D

What's more, he used to be a real fishgeek too  up until 4 months ago he had an 8ft long marine reef tank in his mums dining room........it filled it...... :D  and has lots of new filter material to give..... :D

Q:

Will this type of filter remove particles in suspension?
