Fred and the Fredettes
tank: 48x15x18
volume: approx 210 litres
stock: will be oddballs, most likely: rope fish, smallest type bicher, butterfly fish and maybe one South American Puffer
i am considering either an Eheim Ecco 2236 which is rated for 300 litres, is 600 l/h and volume of 5-litres
or
Eheim Classic 2215, 350 litres, 620 l/h and 4 litre volume
looks like the Ecco goes for about £68 including media and the Classic for about £58 including media
i dont think i can really afford a Pro II as this starts at about £100 for a filter rated for 350 litre
so guys whats best for my 48", 210 litre odd-ball set-up, how much to over filter by, i hear Eheims are the most reliable and straightforward
please bear in mind i have never operated an external before and the two i have tried i have broken
