hi everyone....i have a 26 gallon freshwater aquarium with a pleco, pictus cat, striped raphael cat, small synodontis petricola, 2 gouramis and a small julidochromis ... so far everyone gets along fine (nobody is large enough to eat anyone else at this point). when they do outgrow this tank i also have a 65 gallon waiting for them. anyway, i was considering replacing my biowheel filter with a cannister filter. i feel like the biowheel is not as effective as it used to be. I currently have an Eheim Pro for my large tank, and was wondering what people would suggest for the 26 gallon tank. I know Eheim is good, but I don't know much about their other product lines. Can anyone help me decide on a good canister filter for a smallish tank? thanks!

You can't go wrong with eheim, the classic 2213 would be perfect for a setup like that... It would definately be overfiltering your tank but that's not a problem at all as the fish grow. It's also one of the cheapest canisters you can buy, not to mention from a good name brand! :good:
