Filling My Eheim 2028

I was wondering whats the best way to go about filling the Eheim 2028 i have, i got it with no media and it will be for a fairly heavily stocked Malawi tank (which will also have a 2026 running) - The 2026 contains the standard Eheim media pack.

Shall i include some sponge or not bother?

What about ceramic media?

And... i should really know this, but can some one please remind me, what kind of media is supposed to sit in what tray in the filter, cheers

All the stuff you need is there. the rings go at the bottom-with a blue sponge sitting on them. The other two layers have the 'substrat pro'-the little balls, with the fine white filter pad on the top.
