Figure 8 Puffer

do they have big teeth...

only asking because i was holdim a prawn in my fingers to feed to my oscar i looked away at something and had this painful bite on my finger it made me jump like anything and pulled out and had the puffer hanging from my finger.. anyone else know anything bout that??

Pufferfish certainly can nip, and the larger species could do some damage were they able to get at something like a fingertip. A figure-8 though isn't big enough to cause you any harm.

Figure-8s shouldn't be with oscars; there isn't much overlap in terms of water chemistry requirements, at least not in the long term. Moreover, an adult oscar could easily eat a figure-8 puffer.
