there is some days that i just
feel like i am fighting a losing battle
only to give advise to be shot down in flames
it just feels like whats the point i used to be
a great believer in the fish in cycle but after years
of fish keeping i have seen the light and it is better
to have the tank ready for the fish to go straight into
up and running tank and build up you stock gradually
over 4 to 6 weeks i have seen some fish keeping horror
stories in the past x number of years and saved many fish
from death i must admit i have lost a few as well i have
saved fish from tanks were they haven't had a water change in
over a six months to a year but some times i just feel like
i am banging my head off a brick wall sorry but i just need to get
this off my chest as i have got a lot on my plate at the moment
as some of you know

rant over the biffster

I can understand your frustrations, it is a good thing to share ones presures and concerns with others and get things of ones chest as they say , especially in this day and age.

I salute your endevours and dedication to the care you give the fish in your charge.

Its a hard thing to accept and understand but I have found that in all of life one has to realise there is only so much one can do, Only so much advise one can give, only so much help one can offer and give and we have to accept that sometimes it will be flung straight back in our face.

Unfortunatley it is the way of things and sometimes you cannot help it even if you try your hardest try and learn to be content with yourself and your achievments and leave those that wind you up to there own devices things always have a way of balancing out in the end.

I hope things settle down for you soon

Regards onebto.

Yeah, get it all off your chest, biffster :)

I know exactly how you feel; I sometimes get heartily sick of the 'your tank isn't cycled', 'those fish grow too big', 'no, you can't keep 20 fantails in a teaspoon' replies that I seem to have to type over and over again...
