Hello :D

I have had to buy a seperate tank for my fighter fish :flex: as he bulies and upsets my other fish. He's been on his own for 1wk now, if i put him back in will he carry on or shall i keep him in there.

I have Black Widow Tetras, Neons, Sharks.

Or should i get him a friend whos slightly bigger than him to put in the bully tank?

cheers

DOES HE BULLY THEM ALL OR JUST THE TETRAS,MOST BETTAS WILL GET AGRO WITH FISH IT THINKS ARE OTHER BETTAS,(MIND SOME ARE JUST NUTS  ) TRY HIM IN THERE AGAIN BUT KEEP A CLOSE EYE ON HIM, IF HES AGRO THEN SOLITARY FOR HIM

What size tank was he in and what is he in now? Also, out of interest what kind of "sharks" do you have? Some are quite aggressive and maybe there has been a problem between more than one?

:)

Although some male bettas (fighting fish) do get along ok in a community tank they are basically loners and have no problem being in their own little tank(1 gallon minimum IMO).

Hello all ;)

Thank u for all of your replies, He has a tendancy to bully the tetras and leaves all of the others alone oh and he pecked, killed and ate 2 neons for breakfast too.

He was in a 25" x " 14" x 12"
He is now in a 15" x 9" x 12"

The shop said they are silver sharks they have black tipped fins. They dont seem to nip fins and have quite a sweet little personality.

Cheers
