Fiddler Crabs

Anyone have any expereince with fiddler crabs? I know they molt, abd in my tank i have what seems like just a shell, but I cant find the crab, unles he died. I checked everywhere, all the usual hiding spots. I have had one die and it doesnt look like this. Its very light colored, almost see through. Any ideas?

it sounds like its shed skin, it could be hiding you need to search thoroughly but carefully as it might be still soft. Depending on what you have got it with it could have been eaten; when they shed they are at their most vulnerable.

Yeah she did molt. I found her, she digs herself under an amazon sword plant.
