I got my Live Rock today and was wondering if I should put it straight into the tank or have it quarantined or something. Right now its in a bucket of saltwater that I got from the LFS.

Put it straight in the tank as far as i know

Straight in the tank on the bottom glass and aquascape as you like. Then pour sand in around it and fire up your powerheads and heater

Oh you mean the powerhead and heater werent supposed to be on the whole time? woops.

no no, powerheads are the single most important item in reef aquariums and should be running all the time. Gotta keep water flowing to keep oxygenating the water. If power goes out, powerheads are the first thing that should be ran on battery or generator backup. Without water flow, many saltwater organisms suffocate and die. Go ahead and put them on
