Hey, ok 1st problem is that i get a like scum on the top of the water now ive got a spray bar on one side with a pmup also blowing at the surface but its not really stopping it and so ive started to get cyano blobs on the top of the surface!
Also my other problem is ive got high nitrates which are a sod tbh and i found a site where u can buy macro algea bunches for like 3.50 so then i dont have to do water changes which then will cause the cyano bacteria which is a pain to eat all its food and die off.... As i cant seem to grow it even with this huge amount of nitrate food to be eaten up!
My LFS said about nitrate reactor.. what you think about them? only thing is i dont know how they caould work in my tank as i dont want another pump in the tank, but i was looking at the Aqua Medic - Nitrateductor 400
