Seffie when you get your new camera and download picasa3 software you can start to play about with your pics, here's a few just messing round with shadows and hi lites............

Gives a 60's poster art effect...one of oh so many different effects you can get without the expense of photoshop.

I have photoshop elements 4, there are that many effects on there, have never used half of them.

I do use shadows and Highlights alot though, puts the depth back into the picture that shooting through glass can take out.

Mine does not give effects like that though, Levels does.

with picasa3 set shadows to maximum and then tweek about with the hi lites til you get your desired effect. Would love to get loose with photoshop tina but at that price picasa it has to be meantime.
