What's the simplest way to fertilise a high tech tank?

I run 2.25WPG on a 120gl that has CO2 injected, obviously I need to add fertiliser to keep everything ticking along nicely and mainly to avoid any outbreaks of Algae

I've looked into EI and though this seems like a great way to keep my tank fertilised. I'm wandering if I can taylor the dosing so I won't have to add ferts everyday (I'm often away from my house so dosing everyday won't always be possible) also I don't really want to be doing 50% water changes each week as I use RO water from a tub in my garden, and this would mean lugging 60GL of water (that's 27 10litre buckets) across my kitchen each week which I really really don't have the time, energy or impetus to do!!
So, would it be possible to find some sort of regime that means I only need to dose twice a week (maybe 3 but twice would be better) and only have to do 25% water changes?

Alternatively are there any good off the shelf ferts that can be recommended, I'm using tropica plant nutrition plus at the moment, it's great but using it twice a week on a large tank means I have to spend a lot of money...which is bad. Are there no slow release ferts out there (may be substrate based?) that I could just put in and leave for a period of time?

Or would it be possible to lower my CO2 and light levels such that proportionaly all the required elements are the same but as there's less light, they'd be a lower rate of growth and therefor a lower demand on ferts?....or will this end up with an algae outbreak?

Thanks in advance fro everyone's help
Hank

why not mix your own dry ferts? Save a lot of money. You could get a liqui doser from ehiem, its like an automatic feeder except for fertilizers. Heres a link: http://www.aquacave.com/detail.aspx?ID=485

Looks good! didnt' think you could buy pumps like this for fertilising. Nowhere in the UK seems to sell the eheim one though but there seems to be quite a few places with the aquamedic ones.
