ok have learnt so far that many females can be kept in the same tank.
my question is this, can you mix female betta types together, i.e veiltails with crown tails? or any other kind of mix?

you help as always much appreciated :D

yep any type of females can be kepted together as long as its not over crowding.
altho some females can be more agressive than others

They're all the same species, so it doesn't make a single bit of difference to them whether they're tankmates are Veil, Crown, Delta, Plakat, or Halfmoon. All they know is that it's another female Betta, which may or may not be a good thing, depending on the individual female.
