females and guppies??

i know that males and gupps cant go together, but what about females? I was thinking of getting a 10 or 15 gallon tank for my fry when theyre older, but the only way my parents will let me get another tank is if I can get rid of "all the bowl" that I have bettas in. three, oh so many! but yeah, um, if i did get one i want the girl to go w/the guppies. also if i was to do that id put my brothers pristilla tetras in there, would they not be good w/the betta and other fish, and would that over crowd it?

I have 2 male guppies in with 2 female bettas in one of my 10g. No problems.

i have 5 females in a 25g with 3 guppies, no problems either
