Female with eggs

My little female is as big as a house and at this point seems ready to jump any male that comes close. How can I tell if she's becoming egg bound? She's definitely ready. I put my halfmoon near her and boy did she color up fast. He, of course, was completely disfunctional. She's so darn small that there are only one or two that I can put with her.

What would a plakat x crowntail cross be like? Anyone had an experience with that? If not, I'll retry the halfmoon or even use a common - yes, I know - butterfly veil tail.

I think it`s better if you have small female to put with a male actually,one of my 2 girls have a big belly and loves to see my boy and my other girl I think is a little immature for now and doesnt care for spawning Well I think is that combination for a combtail???
