Female tank follies

I discovered something to keep my girlies entertained for hours.
I have some freeze dried daphnia that I occasionally sprinkle into tanks to give the kids a little treat. Well, tonight I was not thinking, and rather than dumping a bit into my hand and then into the tank, I held the whole thing over the tank and dumped. Um, yeah. Quite a bit came out - like enough so when it spread out, it covered over half the tank.

Once it floated over toward the filter, suddenly there was a blizzard of daphnia EVERYWHERE in the tank, and several really, really busy girls. I've been watching them for the last 15 minutes, chasing the teeny tiny little pieces of daphnia everywhere.

sounds like something i would do... like the day i dumped my whole container of betta food in freckles side of the tank... it slipped out my hand i swear but freckles got mad at me needless lol he was flaring at me all day cause he didnt know what to do with all the food... most of it was still dry so it could be saved buuuuuut the rest... umm nope... no luck!
