Actually ever since I bought my female convict my male ram has been doing great and has a lot of color, which I think is a good thing. But my female ram is pale, and my have ich, I just not sure. I know what ich looks and how to treat it. But because she is pale does it mean she is stressed out? Any ways to help it? I doubt its the female convict, which is 3 inches, beacse she hasnt really touched anything not even the small neon.

When they go pale it's a sign of stress and illness, what are your test results in ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, and ph, what size tank, and how many fish and which type.

look in my profile, which I should update. My tests came out 0 expect nitrate, and ph which I dont have the test for.

Just keep an eye on the fish for the time being, does she go about the tank like her normal self, or just stuck in a corner not venturing out much.

She goes around like her normal self. Problem is because of midterms Ive just found out about it, it could of been this way for the last week, and I wouldn't of knowen.

In my instance I disagree.

My Female spawn constantly and also successfully had fry.

Of course this may be an exception.
