Well the little female crowntail finally started producing eggs. However, dummy ignores anything dropping past a certain level. She discovered that and immediately started picking up the eggs and then heading to the nest. Ha, dummy won't let her get anywhere near the nest before embracing her again... gulp... no more eggs. After about 4 tries, she just hunts and eats them now.
Between her eating the eggs and him picking up unfertilized eggs and sticking them in the nest it was interesting watching them. I would guess about 1/4 of the eggs in the nest are not good. She was swimming around dropping eggs while he was following her and picking them up. He's currently doing loops under the nest. The funny part is that as small as she was, she's in better shape than he is. One tail split. He's a ragged mess.
