I am fairly new to Bettas so please bear with me while I learn. :/

I have a 10 gallon tank divided with 3 Bettas in it. 2 Males and one female.

All is well but the problem is I looked at Bettas and fell in love with another one. :*) I put him in a 1 gallon tank. I just cannot see him as well as I can the ones in the 10g.

My question is can I put the female in with the Guppies or is that not recommended? Then I could move the new one into the 10g in her spot or do you suggest I divide the 10g down just a little smaller? :dunno:

Thanks!

Well, I'm not really a betta expert but I would say it is okay. I've hear all bad stories about keeping guppies with male bettas (except a few), but I've only heard one story about females with guppies and they said it was fine! HTH

I have learned thaT FEMALE BETTAS ARE NOT AS AGRESSIVE AS THE MALES so as long as shes not too huge she shouldnt attack the guppies
