Female Flaring!

I thought I was seeing things this morning. I have my three females in a divided 10 gallon now. I noticed this morning my larger female"Firefly" was flaring at my other female "Ava"..I mean she looked and acted just like a male would Shes quite a bit bigger than my other females.....Anyone else ever had this happen?

i had it happen in my male divided tank but they never tried to fight....id just think shes trynig to show whos the biggest....my meduim sized one flared through the divider to my small one....as i said...but obviously they do flare...when i had 3 females the smallest one used to flare! i think its showing whos the boss! but to much flaring can burst the gills....
