Female died on me

I don't understand what happened, but just a few minutes ago my new female betta that I got yesterday died..... I can't see why tho.. I filled her bowl w/ the water from the store and added a lil bit of fresh water.
I really liked her too....

When did you get her?

Was she new? (Becasue you say you used the store water) Did you dechlorinate the water before adding? Did the temperature change dramatically?

Our water is from a drilled well, there is no chlorine in it... and I let the water sit until it is room temp. I just got her on friday and she died yesterday . The only thing that I noticed about her was that she hadn't eaten much.....
