Female Dg

Does anyone have a trusted source to get female DG. I have a neon blue and a flame but I cannot find a female anywhere. I am hesitant to purchase online unless I can find solid info they are reputable.

I got lucky and picked up two females from walmart of all places.

Yep walmart carries mostly females a lot of the time since they buy the cheapest fish they can. I've bought and spawned female DG from private shops and from walmart and IMO just go with the walmart ones just don't buy their males. I had a couple successful breeding attempts of DGs but still had the issue of the adults living long term. I have DGs that I have raised from fry that are doing fine. Still some issue with the adult fish no matter where I buy them.

the 2 girls i got there are alittle older and i got a male from the lfs to go with them solid colors prob 4 months old himself, the walmart employee said they warranty their fish 90 days so if DGD comes round ill get the money back.

pretty sure the walmart fish warrentty is a couple days and no more. two weeks max

Nope It's right on the bag they came in I can put it here if you guys wanna read it. The bag says any live fish bought at walmart is warranty for any reason for 90 days after purchase with receipt. They told me i don't need anything but the receipt and i'll get a refund if they died.
