Hey guys!!
I have a female convict in my tank with another convict which im not sure what sex it is. The female is always hiding in one of the caves. Is that normal?? What should i do?

If you just added her, then it could be sometime before she is comfortable enough to come out.

It sounds like she is just a little scared?

What size tank?
Water parameters in Ammonia, Nitrite, Nitrate and pH?
What other fish are in the tank?

Its a big tank idk what size exactly. I have another convict in there its sex is unknown coz i have no idea how to find out its sex, there is also 3 neon tetras 1 red eyed tetra and 3 black neons in there but all the tetras are going to be removed tomorrow.

Hmmm... I would post pictures if I were you so we could try to sex both of the Convicts.

The first pic is my big female. Please let me know what breed the second one is.

The first one is definitely a female, however I am unsure about the second one? The dorsal fin has a shape of a female, but the body suggest otherwise?

Hopefully someone else will be on to help you out!

I think the second one is male, as it just about has more blueish tinge to it
