Ok, well, as some of u guys know my one female has dissapeared. unfortunately while i was gone looking for 2 more to put in the community tank. Now i only have 2 females. I was wondering if i could go ahead and put the two females together, and when i get payed thursday i can buy 1 or 2 more to add in, or should i keep them separated until then? i have a 10 gallon tank now, so i don't think space will be a problem, what is ur opinion. here are the 2 new girls i got,

Keep them separated until then, just to be safe. Then get at least two more.

its very important to keep them apart untill u have mroe fish! should never keep any less than 4 girlys together, i found out teh hard way that its doesn't work out too well. most poeple will recommend 6 per community and never an odd number, but you can do what fits your setup

ok, thanks for the info. i have already set up my tank, so, by thursday, it should be ready for them by thursday.

I sat them beside each other so they could see each other. I thought that might help them get used to seeing each other. should i keep them close like that or do u think it will cause them too much stress?

They'll be just fine like that. All of my Bettas have another Betta near them that they can see 24 hours a day, and they've never suffered any ill effects from it.
