It was really weird. I had prepped her for several weeks and she was really swollen. She is a red and green double tail female, and I had tried to breed her with my aggressive and sadistic metalic green and black double tail "Custer". needless to say it didn't work out too well for the poor girl but she's healing. But 2 days after I gave up and sepperated them into their old habitats she had built a large bubblenest. reading the forums a lot I knew that happened on ocassion. But then I came in this morning before leaving for class and she had laid and was blowing her eggs into the nest.

Anyone else think that's a little weird? I'll try to get pictures later when I get home from school.

that is odd, mine blew a nest thingy, nothing impressive but a nest none the less, i could c her bropping eggs because u got her real big and nothing happend but blowing them into the nest just doesn't happen....at all, i dont know it definately werid :dunno:

Wow, that's incredibly odd

ODD! :S

CuteCotton had a female who did the same thing...

:-( :byebye:

i hate to break it to you, but a female doing that is showing the first signs of tetramyclinoma, a deadly and more fatal disease than dropsy. You might not see any signs of it and she might look perfectly healthy but her insides are slowly swelling up and she might not make it past the month

i suggest you medicine her with epidetmois, an antibodic for tetramyclinoma. :-( good luck
