Female Bn Plec Found A Strange Cave !

2 slate caves in the tank and my breeding female BN plec decides to use something else as a cave

and before you ask yes that is the outlet from my filter system

pulled her out 3 times so far tonight and she just goes straight back in it

as long as she doesnt decide to spawn in there, the male keeps sitting on the glass right next to her and tries to get in the pipe with her lol

i now have 2 females and 2 males all trying to get into the filter outlet. its funny watching the males trying to get in even though they are too big

would it be a good idea to try and block the outlet somehow so that she cant get back in the filter outlet, but without restricting the outlet flow from the filter ???

Thats just plain funny!

As long as the gunk build up in the tank isnt out of control, then the filters bio filteration will continue to do a great job of the amonia cycle.

Well, I'm amused! Couldn't you put a piece of netting over the outlet?

its quality, i sat there for ages last night watching the 4 of them trying to get in there

im going to get some fairly course netting today and fit over the end, should stop them getting in there
