I bought 4 albino corys to go in my 30 gallon with my female bettas as the bottom is quite bare. Anyways once I released them in the tank a few of the girls were taking little nips at them :/

I decided to move them to my 60 gallon for the time being. Just wondering if others of you have corys in with your female bettas? If so do they nip at them or do you think mine were just investigating and eventually they will leave them alone? :dunno:

Hmmm.... I can't imagine they would keep on doing it, seeing as cories are considered OK to put in with male bettas....

I've had cories in with my adult females since they went into the tank and they never pay them any attention except to try and pinch their wafers are feeding times

The juvie girls have cories in their tank also and occasionally I've seen one take a little nip but I think its just mild curiosity more than anything. There have never been any injuries to the cories.

Give them a little more time, hopefully they will pay less attention to them once they get used to them being there. Just make sure the cories have plenty of places to hide from them and I think they should settle in.
